Lincoln Djang went 4:48.97 in the 400 SCM IM on Saturday at the

NW Zone SCM Championships in Washington.

 Road to Long Beach - Help support our team at the SPMA/SW ZONE Championships

 

Get your entries in this week!!!!.  One, two, or all three days.  Our goal is 30 swimmers.

 

When? And where you ask?

Belmont Shores, Long Beach

December 4-6, 2004 (Saturday to Monday)

 

Entries must be postmarked before Friday Nov. 19th, 2004.  Entry fee includes a meet t-shirt. Add a $10.00 late fee for all entries POSTMARKED (or entered on-line) after Friday Nov. 19th. All entries MUST be RECEIVED by 6:00 p.m. Wed. Nov. 24th.

 

Please let me know your events so I can do relays.

Don’t gasp or Blow!

 

Breath control is fundamental to efficient swimming.  You need to train your breathing for effective performance.

 

Important Breathing Tips:

-Inhalation: Should be an easy reflex action – don’t gasp in air!  If exhalation is adequate, air will flow in on its own!

 

-Exhalation:  Always flow the air out easily.  Never blow the air out forcefully, because this causes breathlessness and loss of breathing control resulting in premature fatigue.  Exhalation should be at least twice as long as the inward breath
