Swim Consistently
A good goal in any fitness program is to maintain a consistent routine. This type of goal usually consists of a specific distance goal during each training session with a minimum number of days per week, for example. For optimum benefit a lifelong fitness program must be consistent, so a further goal may be to swim year-around for as long as health permits. How does one stay motivated to keep up this kind of routine for years and years? Swimming at different times of the day, or modifying distance goals can add variety. Remember have fun!
