 Could I Be a Masters Swimmer?

Q.  Am I fast/good enough

A.  Masters swimming is open to all levels of swimmers.

 

Q.  Do I have to complete?

A.  Only if you want to.  The majority of USMS members swim for fitness and social reasons.

 

Q.  I am a Triathlete and want to work on my swimming, what are my options?

A.  A good number of our members are triathletes.  Many Masters dedicate a portion of their workout to open water and triathlon training.

Are you Ready for 1650 Postal Event

 

We will as a team swim the mile and submit the results for team standings. 

 

We will swim the 1650 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 4-6 (you pick the date)

 

$6.00 individual entry fee

$4.00 relay entry fee (4 swimmers – total time, do you know 3 other swimmers for your relay?)

 

Awards will be given for 1-3 place for individual events and first place for relays.  T-shirts are available for $15.00.

It’s time to commit. Yes, I’m talking to you— no need to over look this one.

It may be winter now, but May will soon be here. Think fun in the sun, delectable dining,

amazing nightlife and national class swimming at the USMS Short Course Yards National

Championships in Coral Springs, Fla., coming up May 11-14.  The meet registration will be available soon at

www.usms.org

  

Hosted by Coral Springs Masters, the 2006 event takes place at the Coral Springs

Aquatic Complex, which opened in 1989 and is a leading swimming and diving facility.

It is home to the Coral Springs Masters Team, the Coral Springs Swim Club and is a training

facility for international Olympic athletes.
