Supply is open for business at MVN (in the trailer to the right of the Swim
Team supplies and swim equipment are
available for purchase on site for the convenience of our parents and swimmers
every Tues. & Thurs. from
3:00pm-7:00pm.
Summer hours beginning June 26 will
be Monday through Thursday 8-12am and 3-8pm.

Workout Etiquette
Our swimmers range in their ability
and fitness level, from beginners to serious competitive swimmers. Please follow
these guidelines in order to make workout sessions safer and more pleasurable
for all swimmers.
General Team
Guidelines:
1. Don't stand in front of the
pace clock.
2. If you need to stop, squeeze
into the corner to the right of oncoming swimmers, so they will have sufficient
room to turn.
3. At all times be aware of
what is going on within your lane.
4. Try not to kick or swing
your arms into another lane while swimming or at the
wall.
5. When you are late, and the
lanes are full, you will have to join the workout at it's current point, rather
than from the beginning.
6. When a person in your lane
appears unsure of the rules, please bother to explain, in a polite manner.

Swim Meet of Champions meet being held June 15-18 is one of the most prestigious
meets hosted by MVN.
We are
still in NEED of filling parking
and timing shifts for this meet,
as well as housing for visiting
champion swimmers.

Program for Triathletes, Fitness Swimmers, Competitive Swimmers and You!
All practices have a
coach on deck who provides expert assistance in training techniques, stroke
mechanics and goal setting. Each workout accommodates all skill levels:
beginner, intermediate, advanced, or triathlete. Practices last one hour
and the total distance ranges from 800 to 4000 yards/meters, depending on the
skill of the individual.
